Modern Slavery Statement
At Vouchsafe, we recognise that modern slavery and human trafficking are significant issues in today’s global economy and are dedicated to taking steps to ensure that these practices are not present in our operations or supply chain. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery and human trafficking. We do not have a legal obligation to publish this statement, but choose to do so.

Our Business and Supply Chain
Vouchsafe provides inclusive identification verification using biometric vouching.
We work with a diverse range of vendors and suppliers, maintaining strong relationships throughout the supply chain. We have the same high expectations of them as we do of ourselves.
Our suppliers and vendors must meet the following minimum expectations:
-
All forms of forced, compulsory and child labour are prohibited.
-
Clean, safe, and hygienic working conditions are provided.
-
Working hours comply with national laws, and workers are paid fairly.
-
Physical abuse, sexual or other harassment, and any form of intimidation are prohibited.
We will terminate a contract of any vendor or supplier if they are found to be in breach of these expectations.

Our Employees
Respecting and protecting the rights of our employees is fundamental to our commitment to combating modern slavery. We create a fair, inclusive, and safe working environment for all of our employees. Our internal policies include fair wage practices, anti-discrimination, equal opportunities, and health and safety standards.
We strictly prohibit any form of forced labour, child labour, or human trafficking within our operations. We ensure that all employees have the freedom to leave their employment voluntarily, are compensated fairly for their work, and have access to support mechanisms such as confidential whistleblowing channels to report any concerns.
We provide training to all employees to ensure they are aware of their rights and can identify and report potential risks of modern slavery within our business operations and supply chain.

Policies and Practices
We have the following policies and practices in place:
-
Supplier Code of Conduct: We require our suppliers and partners to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which explicitly prohibits the use of forced labour, human trafficking, and other forms of modern slavery.
-
Due Diligence: We conduct due diligence on our suppliers to assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain. This includes reviewing supplier compliance with labour laws and conducting background checks where appropriate.
-
Training: We provide training to our employees on modern slavery, human trafficking, and ethical business practices to ensure that they are aware of these issues and can identify potential risks within our operations and supply chain.
-
Whistleblowing Policy: We encourage our employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report any concerns related to modern slavery or unethical practices through our confidential whistleblowing channels.

Risk Assessment and Management
We continuously evaluate the potential risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chain. Our approach is risk-based, prioritising areas, sectors, and regions that are more susceptible to such issues. When risks are identified, we actively collaborate with our suppliers to implement effective measures to address and mitigate them.

Measuring Effectiveness
To ensure the effectiveness of our policies and practices, we:
-
Monitor and review our supply chain to identify potential risks of modern slavery.
-
Conduct regular audits of our suppliers to verify compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct.
-
Review and update our policies annually to ensure they remain relevant and effective in addressing modern slavery and human trafficking.

Looking Forward
We are committed to continuous improvement in our efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. We continue to further strengthen our supplier engagement, enhance our training programs, and improve our due diligence processes.
